Overlooking the harbour is the historic Rocks area - Sydney's birthplace, its narrow streets packed with attractive colonial buildings, restaurants, bars and supmarket shops.

When it comes to the arts, Sydney is second to none. Be sure to check out the Art Deco Museum of Contemporary Art and the brilliant Powerhouse Museum.

Sydney is also home to one of the world's most exciting restaurant scenes. Fresh, local produce is always important, and the city has absorbed the flavours of Southeast Asia and Polynesia into its cuisine, making for a scintillating experience.

The 333 islands of Fiji can sizzle with excitement or murmur with the calm of nature. Here you can swim with huge, harmless manta rays, snorkel over giant rainbow gardens of soft coral or scuba-dive the White Wall and famous Astrolabe Reef.

We take you to 2 main locations. Viti Levu is the largest island and offers a wealth of tropical scenery, from rushing mountain rivers and waterfalls in the depths of the rainforest, to palm-fringed beaches where time seems to stop.

The Mamanuca group is a cluster of small islands located just north of Viti Levu. These islands have fine beaches and diving in the area is also excellent.

Auckland is New Zealand's biggest city and a yacht or boat cruise on the harbour is essential. Or perhaps take a trip to the top of Sky Tower for head-spinning views and buy Maori crafts at Otara Market.

North of Auckland is subtropical Northland, where you can visit the Bay of Islands, a group of 144 islands providing an aquatic playground with myriad secluded beaches.

In Rotorua, the earth is alive. Bubbling and fizzing with geothermal activity, it erupts with geysers and is covered with crater lakes and volcanic mountains. Rejuvenate yourself in mineral pools, enjoying mud wraps and massages
